A two-day intensive training course, ″Design, Installation, and Operation of Solar Power Plants,″ was successfully concluded at the LEPL Ilia Tsinamdzgvrishvili College on October 10 and 11 of the current year.
The course was implemented with the support of the Eberhard-Schöck-Stiftung and the Ministry of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia. The training was led by industry expert, Mr. Syril Eberhart.
Students of the college's vocational program ″Electricity″ participated in the training. They acquired both theoretical and practical skills essential for the planning and installation of solar photovoltaic systems.
Following the successful completion of the course, participants were awarded certificates, which will enrich their professional portfolios.
🍷 On June 6-8, 2025, the 17th International Wine and Alcoholic Beverages Exhibition took place at the ExpoGeorgia exhibition space. Students from the professional educational programs “Viticulture-Winemaking“ and “Beverage Production“ at Ilia Tsinamdzghvrishvili College (LEPL) participated in the exhibition and presented wines and liqueurs produced by them at the college.
🍷The International Wine and Alcoholic Beverages Exhibition WINEXPO is one of the largest-scale events in the winemaking industry in the Caucasus region, bringing together various significant activities for the sector.
🍷The exhibition, like in previous years, was held with the support of the National Wine Agency of Georgia, and approximately 100 small, medium, and family wineries introduced their products to exhibition visitors, including various types of wines, among them qvevri and biodynamic wines.
Teimuraz Laitadze, a student of the ”Hotel Services” vocational education program at LEPL Ilia Tsinamdzgvrishvili College, visited Chisinau, Moldova within the framework of the ”Ideathon” project.
”Ideathon” is an international platform where participating students work on innovative ideas in various fields: technology, entrepreneurship, environmental protection, and social development.
The project is implemented in collaboration with the Skills Agency Georgia, under the Erasmus+ project: ”Promoting internationalization in VET in EU and Eastern Partnership Countries” (INVEsT in You: Promote International Traineeship Programs for Armenian, Georgian, and Moldovan students in Central Europe. IN-VET).
On October 29 of this year, representatives from the European Union Monitoring Mission in Georgia's Mtskheta Regional Office visited the LEPL ”Ilia Tsinamdzgvrishvili College.”
During the visit, the college representatives introduced the guests to the 140-year history of the college's establishment and subsequent development, as well as informed them about the professional activities and support provided to internally displaced students enrolled in the college, along with ongoing professional programs.
After the meeting, the guests toured the college's material and technical facilities, including the ”Marani” (wine cellar) - a cultural heritage site of national importance, and the historical building of ”The First Professional School” in Georgia.
The European Union Monitoring Mission (EUMM) is an unarmed civilian monitoring mission in Georgia, established on September 15, 2008. The mission involves 214 observers from 25 EU member states. While the mission's headquarters is located in Tbilisi, observers are mainly stationed in regional offices across three Georgian cities: Gori, Mtskheta, and Zugdidi.
